La Fondation Hans Wilsdorf encourage et soutient la formation, principalement sous forme de bourses individuelles. Elle facilite ainsi les parcours de vie et l’adaptation personnelle et collective aux évolutions sociales, économiques, démographiques et environnementales. Un accent particulier est mis sur la formation en phase avec les besoins du marché du travail, entre risque de pénurie et suivi de l’apparition des « nouveaux métiers ».

S’agissant des parcours dans les hautes écoles du canton, la Division de la formation et des étudiants (DIFE) est chargée d’évaluer le droit à une bourse d’études sur la base de critères fixés par la fondation. Pour les autres parcours de formation, les demandes sont à adresser à la fondation au moyen du formulaire prévu à cet effet.

La formation, l’insertion et la réinsertion professionnelles sont soutenues à travers des aides individuelles, mais aussi par l’intermédiaire de plusieurs fondations thématiques, ainsi que par des aides institutionnelles en faveur de la recherche et de la formation (p.ex. Fondation privée des HUG, Fondation pour l'université de Genève).

L’action de la fondation concerne également le sport, avec des soutiens à des associations actives dans le domaine de la formation et de la relève.

Fondation Hans Wilsdorf encourages and supports education and training, primarily through individual scholarships, to facilitate career pathways and personal and collective adaptation to social, economic and environmental change. We are particularly keen to support vocational education and training that meet the needs of the labour market, addressing skills shortages and monitoring the development of new and emerging professions.

If you are looking for support for higher education courses in the canton, please apply to the Division of Education and Student Affairs (DIFE), which is responsible for assessing eligibility for grants on the basis of criteria set by the foundation.

For other training courses, please complete and submit the relevant application form.

We offer individual grants for education and vocational training, workforce integration and reintegration. Our support is also directed through several thematic foundations (including ForPro and Qualife) and via institutional grants for research, education and training (for example, Private Foundation of the HUG, Foundation for the University of Geneva).

The foundation's grants cover vocational training and youth development in sport, and are open to both individuals and associations.
