Education, training and workforce integration

Fondation Hans Wilsdorf encourages and supports education and training, primarily through individual scholarships, to facilitate career pathways and personal and collective adaptation to social, economic and environmental change. We are particularly keen to support vocational education and training that meet the needs of the labour market, addressing skills shortages and monitoring the development of new and emerging professions.

If you are looking for support for higher education courses in the canton, please apply to the Division of Education and Student Affairs (DIFE), which is responsible for assessing eligibility for grants on the basis of criteria set by the foundation.

For other training courses, please complete and submit the relevant application form.

We offer individual grants for education and vocational training, workforce integration and reintegration. Our support is also directed through several thematic foundations (including ForPro and Qualife) and via institutional grants for research, education and training (for example, Private Foundation of the HUG, Foundation for the University of Geneva).

The foundation's grants cover vocational training and youth development in sport, and are open to both individuals and associations.
